There’s No Easy Way

      Chid prepared for jogging- he brought with him a bag from the popular Aldana Mobile Shop give away bag enough for him to carry a small bottle of water two mobile and nothing else

Scene 2 outside the house and on the road

      Outdoor it was still dark, the sky is dark and cloudy but not windy, the possibility of rain depends on the wind but there’s just windlessness and wet road.

Scene 3 Magallanes Iraya

      Chid can hear only his footsteps and his eyes was caught by a headlight and he is watchful over tricyles coming.And other vehicles.

Scene 3

      Lukban bridge

People are rushing towards st John church for dawn mass.

Scene 4

      J lukban st & Market place Area:

People are driving, others are parking, others are carrying goods, early morning shoppers and sellers are busy.Tricycle drivers are waiting, Chid is jogging and he felt the jogging struggle at elevated plaza of Daet Area.

Scene 5 Ninoy Aquino Ave

      Obviously the road is dark,no barangay tanod, on the way is St Martha funeral parlor but no lamay at all,only street lights.Chid don’t have choice but to do jogging, his mt bike need rear tire exterior replacement, possibly even interior vulcanizing and more air.

Scene 6

      The CNPH area

The hospital area is bright with light ,24 hours drugstores,vehicles waiting and rushing.And salesladies watching TV with that street cleaner

Scene 7

     Iglesia ni Cristo Area to Yago upholstery-In that area there is simbang gabi near the road to cathedral just after cnph there is a chapel,irrigation and a new under construction building.

Its dark in there on the right is the chakoy factory on the left is the sidecar factory and kinalas eatery.Lots of Talisay in the dark and talisay tree fallen fruits.Some few garbage can be seen too.

Scene 8 The curve

       The curve is from Yago Upholstery to Guevaras residence to Napod rice mill and Umamorj of Timoner residence

Here at 4 am is still dark.Mosque are there, Christian fellowship do prayers early in the morning too.But its just both are quite today.

Scene 9

      Umamorj to Burabod crossing

Chid saw Domingo A. there looks like they are going to build a house there and park their black SUV there.Beneath the earth surface are fish ,rats on the canal and while ricefields are planted with young rice .March maybe they will be harvested first the Talisay and Gahonon area will harvest, because the irrigation first give them water. Later the irrigation will water the Burabod area.

Scene 10

       From Burabod crossing to Bagasbas Elementary School-(BES)

Trees on the side of the road .Stars and clouds, and darkness, there is the Globe and Smart towers,And Bernard’s shop just in front of BES.

Scene 11 : 5:00 AM BES to the Seawall

       Chid will decide to stop or continue, to go straight or go to the right, but Chid decided to go straight and continue to endure the heaviness,tiredness and struggle in his body system .On the way is another chapel and more people are attending the dawn mass and its like a newly opened 711 store ,young and old are attending the simbang gabi.Reaching the seawall Chid did some stretching and rest and self massage. Going back home its Scene 11 back to scene 1 again.

Scene 11 down to Scene 1

       This time Chid run faster and a kid came to try to race with him but failed.He did some break and rest and he cannot bear his thirst his knee feels like giving up.His shoes is not even a running shoes the cushion isn’t enough and the sacks isn’t long enough to protect the skin from rubbing against the back of the shoe on his left foot.Back home the salt bread and great taste white coffee tasted like he never eaten a saltbread for a long time and coffee like he never had a coffee  before it quenched his thirst and hunger. At this very moment the morning sun is just very bright for him, it’s the effect of not sleeping all night and jogging even before the sun rises. At least he was first to go back , beating others , beating the fastwalker, the weightless witch , the muscle man , the cycling man, the hardworking couple and the other promising early morning trekkers. Its time to fix the bicycle.
